A Beautiful restaurant overlooking the river, food was amazing, staff were courteous and very pleasant and couldn’t of been anymore helpful service was a little bit slow but it was a Friday night on a beautiful summers night so the restaurant was busy probably due to a beautiful summer evening setting. Would highly recommend

Fantastic location, great staff and very good Sunday lunch. Highly recommended. The weather was not great when we visited but the outside space looking out onto the river is so picturesque. I will definitely return on a sunny day.

Visited the Anchor again in Hullbridge for a double date. Fortunately the area that we got seated was being waited by Elli. Our last visit she was our waitress and done a splendid job. She was just as good second time round, far from a 1 trick pony! If you get the chance to visit try get waited by her to make your night out even better. Already looking forward to going back and fingers crossed we get waited by the wonderful Elli.

Beautiful place and the food and the service was amazing. Everything nice and fresh !
